   Catholic Encyclopedia
This Encyclopaedia is not any "old" Encyclopaedia. It is an international work of reference on the Doctrine, Discipline, History and Constitution, of the Catholic Church! It is not an authority of itself, but it contains teachings on the doctrines of Faith and Morals authorised by the Catholic Church. It's a good 'port' to call at to check out your Catholic Faith.
     Good Bible Source
By far the best Bible is the Douai-Rheims. It is the only true translation of the complete Catholic Latin Vulgate Edition, Infallibly Canonised by God, through Pope Paul III, at the Council of Trent, in an 'ex cathedra' definition. It is also the only true Bible with Church-approved notes for all the books. Anyone wanting to make sure they don't misinterpret will only use this Bible. Catholics, at one time were warned to read only 'Catholic' Bibles with notes!

Ensuring Orthodoxy - How do we ensure that all the information on this site is of the One and Only True Divine Religion, that is, of the Religion of God? No we are not ourselves infallible, but there still exist many textbooks containing the pure, unsullied and complete 'Faith of Our Fathers'. Hence everything that is presented in these pages is from orthodox Catholic sources, both pertaining to doctrines of faith and morals and of the history of the Catholic Church. All personal sentiment and opinion is shunned. There is no place for it in the Divine Religion. It belongs to the realms of sentimental false human philosophy.
