What to do about Halloween - what would Our Lady and our Divine Lord do?

Do you think Our Lady would encourage Jesus, as a boy, to masquerade and play pranks, which are basically sinful, that is, offensive to Jesus? Would they join in with masquerade parties? Do we love Jesus and Mary? Then we should be trying to imitate them, and if we have no such intention then all our "love" is horrible lip-service?

Dear friends, is it not beyond belief that Catholics even contemplate about participating in this vain and worldly perversion of the truth, let alone actually doing so?

THE TRUTH ABOUT HALLOWE'EN - it means a HOLY EVENING

That is the first thing to learn - the correct spelling of the name of this event should be Hallowe'en - the apostrophy ', as is usual, denotes a missing letter, which in this case is 'v', so that "Hallowe'en" stands for "Halloweven" or the eve before "All Hallows", where "Hallows" means "Saint" or "Sacred".

So the proper meaning of "Hallowe'en" is the "eve before "All Hallows" or "Hallowmas" or "All Saints Day". And that is all, and nothing else. That is what it should be to people striving to be good Catholics. It is more than enough for a good Catholic. A great joy at the knowledge that God graces the world with the proof of Heaven through making Saints of people.

When Catholics tried to be genuine Christians they revered and celebrated not only the Feast of All Saints on 1st. November, but also the Vigil of that the Feast Day on the 31st. of October. All Saints is such a great Feast Day that it should be prepared for the day BEFORE! This day always had its special Mass and was always a FAST day or a day of fasting!

Where have so many Catholics gone on the Vigil of All Saints? They've all long time gone after the vanities and lies of the world, gone masquerading and after such-like vain fooleries as so-called 'playing pranks'! The masquerading is nothing but sin offending God through vanity. Yes, check it out with the 'experts', the Saints, who teach nothing but the Gospel truth as taught by Jesus and thereafter by His Apostles, and you will see that "vanity is always a sin". THIS IS THE UNCHANGEABLE TEACHING OF THE CHURCH. And the 'pranks'- what can they be, but likewise nothing but evil actions of lying or doing harm to others or their property, offending God.

So the devil, not without our "loving" cooperation, has perverted this day of preparation for a Holy Day by drawing faithless people to the vain folly of dressing up, and dressing up even as demons, witches, etc.; indulging in 'parties' and for some these include the gratification of their lust. All this is contrary to Religion, that is, to the fulfilment of God's will and wishes, namely, preparing for a Holy Day. It is contrary to loving God; contrary to receiving Him in Holy Communion. It's contrary to genuine personal happiness!

Let us not give now, if we did before, any support whatever to this deliberate indulgence in evil, no matter how small it seems. Vanity is always a sin, and no matter how 'small', it is offensive to God. THIS IS THE UNCHANGEABLE TEACHING OF THE CHURCH. Let us always remember that the indulgence in dressing up is vanity, and as such, it is always at least a venial sin, an offence to God, the kindly and caring Father. Is it Christ-like, is it love for God or neighbour! How is it any of these? And it's not a source of genuine happiness, but the opposite, because every vain or 'stolen' pleasure we indulge in, that is, when it's not done for the love of God, we have to 'pay' for!

Instead, we should try to pray more, observe a fast if possible and make other forms of reparation for the insults offered to God on "Hallowe'en". The Christian's or the Catholic's life is not to have fun. That is for the next life with God in Heaven. Now it is time to strive to be like Our Lord and Saviour, that is to labour unceasingly to win the crown of eternal life and joy.

Let us rather pray, fast and make reparation for all the vanity and evils committed at Halloween, a perversion of truth. Let us give good example to the world, rather than scandal confirming many in their poor folly. The greater sin is ours.

And let us finish with the consideration with which we started, to shame us away from such sinful vain foolishness. Let us answer the question: "Would Our Lady encourage Jesus, as a boy to masquerade and play pranks? Would they join in with masquerade parties?" Do we love Jesus and Mary or do we pay lip-service?

Do we not do enough already ready to deserve the reproach of offended God, that He cries out (Ps 4:3):

"O ye sons of men, how long will you be dull of heart? Why do you love vanity and seek after lying?" What are we when we follow the madding crowd?

If we renounce such folly we will come to enjoy what 'poor offended' God has on offer (Ps 4:4):

"Know ye also that the Lord hath made his holy one wonderful?"

Do we know this? Have we believed and tasted It? If we haven't, it should be very obvious who is to blame.

"HARRY POTTER" - WHAT DOES GOD HAVE TO SAY?

INTRODUCTION - DISCLAIMER

The article below is by Mr. David Meyer, a minister in a non-Catholic organisation (the source is given).
By its reproduction on this page we do not in any way support his personal 'religious' beliefs. The reason for publishing it here is because Mr. Meyer, claims he was at one time a "witch" or "wizard", and as such should be familiar with occult beliefs and practices, and therefore be able to comment authoritatively on books such as "Harry Potter", which, although written for children, appear to be introductory compendia to witchcraft. Here then are the convictions on this subject of a former "witch".

"I am writing this urgent message because I was once a witch. I lived by the stars as an astrologer and numerologist casting horoscopes and spells. I lived in the mysterious and shadowy realm of the occult. By means of spells and magic, I was able to invoke the powers of the "controlling unknown" and fly upon the night winds transcending the astral plane. Halloween was my favorite time of the year and I was intrigued and absorbed in the realm of Wiccan witchcraft. All of this was happening in the decade of the 1960's when witchcraft was just starting to come out of the broom closet.

It was during that decade of the 1960's, in the year 1966, that a woman named J.K. Rowling was born. This is the woman who has captivated the world with books known as the "Harry Potter Series." These books are orientational and instructional manuals of witchcraft woven into the format of entertainment. These books by J.K. Rowling teach witchcraft! I know this because I was once very much a part of that world.

Witchcraft was very different in the 1960's. There were a lot fewer witches, and the craft was far more secretive. At the end of that spiritually troubled decade, I was miraculously saved by the power of Jesus Christ and His saving blood. I was also delivered from every evil spirit that lived in me and was set free. However, as I began to attend fundamental Christian churches, I realized that even there witchcraft had left its mark. Pagan holidays were celebrated as "Christian holidays."

As time went on, I watched the so-called "Christian" churches compromising and unifying. I also watched with amazement as teachings from Eastern religions and "New Age" doctrine began to captivate congregations. It was a satanic set-up, and I saw it coming. Illuministic conspirators were bringing forth a one-world religion with a cleverly concealed element of occultism interwoven in its teachings.

In order to succeed in bringing witchcraft to the world and thus complete satanic control, an entire generation would have to be induced and taught to think like witches, talk like witches, dress like witches, and act like witches. The occult songs of the 1960's launched the Luciferian project of capturing the minds of an entire generation. In the song "Sound Of Silence" by Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel, we were told of seeds that were left while an entire generation was sleeping, and that the "vision that was planted in my brain still remains."

Now it is the 21st century. All of the foundations for occultism and witchcraft are in place. The Illuminists have to move quickly, because time is running out. It was the Communist revolutionary Lenin who said, "Give me one generation of youth, and I will transform the entire world." Now an entire generation of youth has been given to a woman named J.K. Rowling and her books on witchcraft, known as the Harry Potter Series.

As a former witch, I can speak with authority when I say that I have examined the works of Rowling and that the Harry Potter books are training manuals for the occult. Untold millions of young people are being taught to think, speak, dress and act like witches by filling their heads with the contents of these books. Children are obsessed with the Harry Potter books that they have left television and video games to read these witchcraft manuals.

The first book of the series, entitled "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," finds the orphan, Harry Potter, embarking into a new realm when he is taken to "Hogwart's School of Witchcraft and Wizardry." At this occult school, Harry Potter learns how to obtain and use witchcraft equipment.

Harry also learns a new vocabulary, including words such as "Azkaban", "Circe", "Draco", "Erised", "Hermes", and "Slytherin"; all of which are names of real devils or demons. These are not characters of fiction! How serious is this?
By reading these materials, many millions of young people are learning how to work with demon spirits. They are getting to know them by name. Vast numbers of children professing to be Christians are also filling their hearts and minds, while willingly ignorant parents look the other way.

The titles of the books should be warning enough to make us realize how satanic and anti-christ these books are. The afore mentioned title of the first book, "Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone," was a real give away. The second book was called "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets," while the third book was entitled "Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban."

Sadly enough, this blatant witchcraft has been endorsed by well-known and respected "Christian" leaders, such as Dr. James Dobson and Chuck Colson, [including dozens of Catholic priests] who have proven themselves to be modern day Judas Iscariots.

Nothing could be more obvious than that Harry Potter books are pure witchcraft and of the devil. The "Christian" leaders, however, defend them by saying that good magic always wins and overcomes evil magic.This is the oldest con game ever hatched out of hell. As a real witch, I learned about the two sides of "the force." Apparently, so do many "Christian" leaders. When real witches have sabats and esbats and meet as a coven, they greet each other by saying "Blessed be," and when they part, they say, "The Force be with you." Both sides of this "Force" are Satan. It is not a good side of the force that overcomes the bad side of the force, but rather it's the blood of Jesus Christ that destroys both supposed sides of the satanic "Force."

High level witches believe that there are seven satanic princes and that the seventh, which is assigned to Christians, has no name. In coven meetings, he is called "the nameless one." In the Harry Potter books, there is a character called "Voldemort." The pronunciation guide says of this being "He who must not be named."

On July 8, 2000 at midnight, bookstores everywhere were stormed by millions of children to obtain the fourth book of the series known as "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire." These books were taken into homes everywhere with a real evil spirit following each copy to curse those homes. July 8th was also the 18th day (three sixes in numerology) from the witches' sabat of midsummer. July 8th was also the 13th day from the signing of the United Religions Charter in San Francisco. Now we have learned that the public school system is planning to use the magic of Harry Potter in the classrooms making the public schools centers of witchcraft training.

What does God have to say about such books as the Harry Potter series? In the Bible in the book of Acts, we read the following in the 19th chapter, verses 18 - 20:

"And many that believed came, and confessed, and shewed their deeds. Many of them also which used curious arts brought their books together and burned them before all men: and they counted the price of them, and found it fifty thousand pieces of silver. So mightily grew the Word of God and prevailed."

As parents, we will answer to God if we allow our children to read witchcraft books. The Word of God will prevail mightily in your life only if such things of Satan are destroyed. [article truncated]

Working out that contraception and lying is always evil.

It's unnatural. It's against the Natural Law [This fact applies to everyone, as much to non-Catholics as to Catholics, being based on the Law that is undeniably inscribed by God on the conscience of every person irrespective of their formal beliefs or otherwise - the Natural Law (See definition)]
   I dunno whether you've had the same experience as me when it comes to explaining in simple ordinary language why contraception is forbidden as a mortal sin: a sin which if not repented of before our death leads to our punishment by God, for EVER in the pains of Hell. Ask an 'informed' Catholic, and what do you get? The "big stick" of "Humanae Vitae" - and: "the Pope says so, that's what the Church teaches". And if you ask for a more detailed explanation, you get palmed off with either, another "big stick": "The Magisterium is always right, just accept it" or "read such and such article".
        I reckon that's not good enough. Not even for Catholics, never mind non-Catholics, who will just say: "Its nowhere in the Bible, I don't want know the Pope's opinion, nor yours". So I got thinking about how to explain this, and for a long time got nowhere, until I had chat about "lying", with a young feller who'd just come back to the Church.
        What he couldn't see was why lying is always a sin and its a sin to lie even to save your life. And it is that, as sure as eggs is eggs. He reasoned, "if you can kill a person in self-defence, without sinning, as a last resort, why can't you tell a lie to save your life without sinning?" The good answer to this one I reckon, as I worked it out, runs like this:
 Lying is always forbidden by the Natural Law (See definition)
   Speaking is something we do as being of our human nature. Now the natural purpose of this is to communicate with others only that which is good, helpful to someone, ourselves or others. Which really means always speaking the Truth. This should be obvious to us! Just imagine how you would feel if on asking the way to some place the person, deliberately lied, and told you to go in the opposite direction! What do you think of that? What if everyone lied constantly? Sure, some of the lies would not affect you, but you can see that it would be impossible to live in peace. There would be 'accidental' deaths, accidents, no banking, constant disagreements, and all kinds of insoluble problems.
  So it's pretty obvious that the power of speech means that we are bound to say only that which we believe is true.
     So the passing on of truth is the natural purpose of speaking, it's a natural human ability. It's therefore part of a Law, which we call Natural Law, and it's easy to see now that lying, which perverts the natural purpose of speech, is obviously forbidden by the Natural Law. It's always against the Natural Law. It's always bad to lie. So lying is intrinsically bad, wicked, evil. Now when an action is INTRINSICALLY bad, it follows that it is NEVER justifiable, that is, it's never made good, under any circumstances, even to save our life! A lie will always be a lie.

If that sounds hard to us, it's probably only because we imagine some situations where a lie saves our life and hurts nobody else. But suppose a lie saves our life but results in the death or maiming of many others! Don’t we then begin to think it's not allowed, especially if we or our family were among those who died or were maimed? So who is always 'hurt' by a lie even when no one appears to be hurt? God, of course. He is always 'hurt' by every lie, because He is perfect truth and through our conscience, which He has implanted in us, orders us, mere creatures, "we are entirely His property", to always speak the truth under pain of punishment!
The use of the marriage act in a way which intentionally frustrates its natural purpose is always forbidden under pain of punishment (sin) by the Natural Law
           As with lying, a similar reasoning applies to the marriage act. It is a natural act of human nature, and its purpose is procreation. To make use of it, therefore, in an unnatural way which prevents its purpose is to frustrate or pervert its natural purpose, is to act against the Natural Law. And so, the marriage act used in such a way is intrinsically evil and never justifiable under any circumstances whatever! It is then a mortal sin, which if not repented or sincerely sorrowed for, earns from God the punishment of Hell!
         I reckon it's best to show that the marriage act, being natural to human nature, if used so that its natural end is intentionally frustrated is obviously against the Natural Law, and so it's forbidden by it as an evil act, and not to just quote "the Magisterium" or "Humanae Vitae". This is it. There is no argument against Natural Law.

What's Natural Law?
   Natural law is that part of God's Eternal Law which applies to the natural actions of rational creatures, that is, creatures with free will and the use of reason, by virtue of which alone they can deduce its chief commandments or precepts. Natural Law is the TEN Commandments of God, imprinted by Him on the conscience of every person, without any exceptions, of which everyone is made conscious when they reach the age of reason. No one is excused from keeping these.
Consequently, all mature persons of normally developed reason can readily work out whether an action of theirs is good or evil, deserving of Heaven or Hell, according as it is in keeping with the TEN COMMANDMENTS of God.
Just one vital point. No one can shrug off Natural Law as if it were any old law. No, Natural Law is identical with God's Divine or Eternal Law - that means it applies to everyone - no one ever has the right to reject it - it is irrecusable. It's from God the Inexorable.
         We've got to be sure that this prohibition is undeniable and that it demands full assent of our will, under the pain of serious sin, known as 'mortal', because it offends God so much, that if it is not sorrowed for properly and God's forgiveness sought for it, He will punish it with Hell for ever. So we've got to see that the Natural Law is identical with God's Ten Commandments. Whether we are Catholics or not we've got to know this fact and never mix up Natural Law, with some mysterious impersonal non-God scientific 'rules or forces', out there, running the world and all the animals.

  Is there a problem with this undeniable truth - is it only for Catholics?
    No, this truth, this prohibition by the Natural Law, is for everyone. At first thought, people may claim that they cannot see how Natural Law applies to them. But if they think again and look into their conscience they will see that their own conscience tells them lying is forbidden, and they will know of the fact that very often people are punished for lying - lying in Court, perjury, is punishable in the UK by up to 7 years imprisonment and by an unlimited fine.
We will all agree that to lie to ourselves would be bad, eg., if we lied about the time our watch showed when we were due to catch an aeroplane or train, or that we had more money in our account than we really have. For the same reasons, it's obviously bad if we lie to other people.    (Return to beginning of article)

One last note - what about all the other actions associated with the marriage act?

         There's a lot of confusion about all actions associated with the marriage act. Some err too far permissively, excusing everything, while others err too far restrictively, prohibiting all but the very essential. The truth can be summarised as:

         All actions associated with the marriage act within matrimony are good provided they are all intended to culminate in that full physical complete union between husband and wife which, though it need not actually result in the conception of a child, could do so, should the conditions be right, and none of which at any time could in any way frustrate that complete union.
        This follows from the teaching found in the approved Catholic book of "Handbook of Moral Theology" (Fr. D. Prummer, Mercier, 1956, p.409, n.859), which states:

                  "The conjugal act is lawful [good] and even meritorious [praiseworthy] as often as it is not opposed to the benefit of offspring [the begetting or producing of children] and conjugal fidelity [the fostering of married love]. Not only the conjugal act itself but also the touches and looks and all other acts are lawful [good] between the married, provided there is no proximate (immediate) danger of pollution (loss of seed) and the sole intention is not mere pleasure."
Each time it's enjoyed merely for pleasure, it will be a sin, not mortal for MARRIED couples with their own spouse, but still offensive to God, as all our actions done for pleasure alone, always are. You think you're a reasonable person? Well then, what excuse have you for being unreasonable even once in your lifetime? - and pleasure is not reason, it's the result of some good action.

         Therefore, men and women MARRIED to one another, may enjoy the marriage act without the least fear of sin or guilt, that is, without fear of offending God, and may be even rewarded for it, whenever they do so for either one or both the reasons:

         1. to fulfil their desire for children to be brought up to be saints, to please God, or

         2. to foster married love.

THE TERM, "MODERNISTS" - AS USED BY CATHOLICS.

A brief definition - Modernists, whatever kind they are, are people who are dissembling usurpers of the organisation of the one and only Catholic Apostolic Church of God. They dress-up passionately held interior personal opinions, contrary to many of the truths of doctrines of the faith and morals of the one and only Catholic Apostolic Religion of God, in such terms as to give them the exterior appearance of full conformity to the latter, and themselves the semblance of loyal members of God's Church.

They pass themselves off as Christians and their organisation as Christ's Catholic Apostolic Roman Church.

A full definition - Modernists are people who have passionately embraced two erroneous opinions for the basis of all their beliefs:

1. God, being indescribable, cannot ever be the object of certain knowledge;

2. religious faith or belief is not an external supernatural Divine faculty offered by God, but is the consequence of mankind's interior desire or need for a Divine entity, or God

From these principles, allied with various innovative opinions, Modernists set out to remove all the SUPERNATURAL basis of the truths of the Divine Religion, replacing them by natural phenomena - they are, in effect phenonmenologists, a kind of atheists.

Therefore:

1. they immediately declare in ingeniously dissembling language, (so as not to appear to be dissenting heretics), that the dogmas or the eternally unchangeable articles of the Catholic Apostolic Roman Faith, are NOT truths revealed by God and hence are NOT fixed in meaning for all time, but are merely: "moorings in a problem, expressions of pastoral prudence, kinds of temporary dispositions, variable symbols";

2. likewise, they redefine in the most dissembling language possible, (so as not to appear to be denying known truths), the Sacraments, the Liturgy, the authenticity and genuineness of Holy Scriptures, the Church and ecclesiastical authority and discipline, making them in effect, although not seemingly so, purely human inventions, rather than what they are, God's dictates.

3. they hold passionately that all these aspects of the religion they hold and teach, are amenable to change as required by circumstances.

4. they proclaim that all mankind enjoys an identical quality of unconditional friendship of God.

MODERNISTS, therefore, while giving the impression that they accept the Catholic Apostolic Roman Church and Her Religion as God's revealed will, in real terms regard these institutions as purely of human making.

THE NEO- OR CHRISTO-MODERNISTS OR CATHOLIC-LIKE PROTESTANTS

These are the latest kind of Modernists. They hold all the above Modernist principles, noticeably:

# a bold selective use of Scriptures or the "Word of God", as they prefer to call these, to support their personal views;

# the incorporation of the name of "Christ" into many of their opinions. Therefore, to add "force" to their false teachings they frequently, make bold use of such phrases as:

"Follow Christ" - "Teach or declare Christ" - "Contemplate the face of Christ, the Risen One" - "This is the Gospel of Christ"

It is on this account that they earn the name of, "New-Modernists, Neo-Modernists, or Christo-Modernists". However, probably the best term to describe them by is CATHOLIC-LIKE PROTESTANTS, because they basically "protest" against most of God's one and only Catholic Religion,

They are people who at heart are atheists, although not seemingly so due to their use of Christian terms, the meanings of which they entirely redefine to fit in with their mistaken personal convictions, which are opposed to God's one and only Catholic Apostolic Roman Religion.

Undoubtedly, they are rebels against the Commandments of God, which to them are intolerably restrictive, and hence, as they unceasingly try to 'enlighten' others, that such restrictions are contrary to the "dignity of mankind."
But the actual truth is that they refuse to bow down their proud necks, and to admit gladly: "We long and love to serve Thee for ever, O Almighty God and our King". But, rather they league with the devil, their "father", and assert, as he once did: "We will not serve".
However, to have a life, comfortable and honoured by ALL men, including recognition by Christians, they adapt all the Christian teachings to their philosophy in such a way that they pass-off, as the true teachings.

They more-or-less maintain the forms of the true teachings but empty them of their correct meanings and significances. Their main objective is the complete eradication of any belief in a "supernature", held as falsehood by them, with only the "natural" or rational being acceptable.

However, by applying the "Divine criterion" to their works, they can be discovered for what they are. Thus, their true character is immediately seen, if, "by their fruits they are known".
Modernism, of whatever kind, must needs necessarily always finally result in intellectual, and ultimately, also in material, disorder and contradiction, or relativism. For how can the rejection of God's absolute order, replaced by individualistic human standards, constantly prone to change and error, ever lead to order? It is certainly an impossible attainment.

THE CUNNING OF CHRISTO-MODERNISTS/NEO-MODERNISTS - (For definitions, press ♥ )

They make the most audacious lies appear as truths by joining them to truths.

IT'S PRIMACY OF TRUTH THAT'S TRUE - PRIMACY OF CONSCIENCE IS A LIE

Do you swear by the opinion, as some 'great Catholics', and other "philosophists" (false philosophers) do, that: "Conscience has primacy over everything"?
   I never fail to be amazed by the cunning of the Christo-modernist/neo-modernist churchmen. It's a real lying wonder. I often think they must be guided by the devil. To show you what I mean, just take these 'famous' words:
  "People are obliged to follow their conscience in all circumstances and cannot be forced to act against it."
   I wont tell you just now who said this, but ponder on what is being attempted here. Firstly, the speaker presents a great truth. No one can deny that: "People are obliged to follow their conscience in all circumstances".
   This affirmation is a "winner." It gets everyone's support, more or less. So the speaker is immediately made a celebrity by these words if he or she were not that already. It appeals to all, doesn't it? Makes all our actions good, quietens our conscience - no more of that nasty guilt "complex"!
   But now consider the phrase that is conjoined to this "lovely great truth": ".. and [people] cannot be forced to act against it [ that is, against their consciences] in all circumstances."
   Now is that always true? Of course, it's not. It's obviously a great lie to propose that everyone can always fulfil their consciences! It's one law, so-to-speak, to have to act according to our conscience - this comes from God's interior command. But there is no Divine command that all should be given freedom to always fulfil their consciences.
   And nothing could be clearer or certain, that there is no right from God nor therefore from anyone else that all should be able to always accomplish what their consciences dictate to them. Obviously, a person's conscience can be perverse so as to be evil and that not to himself alone, but also towards others. Is he or she to be allowed to follow it and do evil and injustice to others? Follow that line and you get nothing but ANARCHY!
   Crazy reasoning, isn't it? There are no end of examples in real life to show this principle as an utter folly. There was a case the other day in the UK news. A fellar insisted that he must walk naked from one end of the UK to the other to promote nudism. He didn't get far before he got arrested. He was released after a warning and agreeing that he understood that he was not to do that anymore!
   Crazy sentence? Sure, and the end was as expected. On coming out of court, he immediately asserted that he could not see anything wrong in what he had done and was going to go on with his nude walk. He was merely "following his conscience", as was his "right", according to the philosophists. Even in court he was humoured and an an officer had to hold a blanket around him so that his nudity would not scandalise the court.
   And guess what happened the next day? That's right, the fellar set off nude again, and was arrested again!
   There you have it. A perverted conscience? sure, and has the man to follow it? sure or he will sin - but no way is he to be permitted to fulfil it by everyone else. He's got to be stopped by force, hasn't he? So there's the great wisdom exposed as the height of stupidity. Don't you think so?
   Now guess who proposed this folly and by cunning made it appear as a great truth and virtue. Have you guessed right? It was the Holy Father, and he broadcast it world-wide in his "Message for the 1999 World Day of Peace" (n. 5), and in India at meeting with representatives of India's many so-called 'religions' - "L'Osservatore Romano", English Edition, N.45 - 10 November 1999, p.4.

A BRIEF REFLECTION - perhaps you are scandalised by the last fact - please don't be scandalised, nor blame me - I didn't invent this story. The Holy Father said it openly in public, and I am only reporting this truth to you so that you will be better informed, so that you will be fully informed. Aren't you grateful? Why not? Where have I sinned in telling this publicly known truth - if you can't accuse me of sin, then I have done well, and good God is pleased - why are you not pleased? Are you greater than God?

   I guess we need very badly a Pope Saint Agatho, or a Pope St. Leo II, or a Pope St. Pius V, a St. Francis de Sales. Why these four Saints? Well, they all believed in correcting an erring Pope and the first three did so in fact! It's a fact, just spend a little time reading up your Church's history and you''ll be fully informed. Well, you say you just love the Church, don't you? The proof of the pudding is in the eating, isn't it?
